This is the traditional risotto rice of the Veneto region in Italy. It is of a high quality, absorbing flavours effectively during the cooking process and offers a high yield on the plate. The structure of the grains ensures the rice holds its shape extremely well upon cooking, giving it a firm bite. The rice is grown within the IGP (Indicazione Geografica Protetta) region of Veneto meaning that the standards of this agricultural product are monitored and protected and revolve around methods of cultivation and the geographic area from which they originate. The product line therefore offers the consumer a high and consistent quality of rice. Perfect with chicken or earthy ingredients such as porcini, pumpkin and sage.
